SCC Food Bank Challenge

Beginning the week of December 6th to 10th our students brought food items to place in boxes in each classroom. The goal was to bring the most items to try and beat the other classroom in the SCC Food Bank Challenge.

5H vs 5R
The winning classes won the SCC popcorn and treat, but in fact all classes got popcorn that day because we wanted students to learn that when we all give we all win.
Over 1000 items were brought into the school. Thankfully, Celebration Ford came and picked up the food items with the help of Grade 5H who carried it all outside and helped load the van. It was a great event with an amazing result!
